Hugh MacDonald is a prolific metal sculptor who often creates whimsical figures and abstract works in a style that pays homage to the artist Calder, but instead of working in wire he is able to create three dimensional figures out of steel rod. His work can be found throughout Connecticut and along the Sculpture Shore.
