Spring Concert, Wine Women, and Song

Opera Theater of Connecticut is pleased to announce the return, on Sunday, June 9, 2024, of one of our most popular events, Wine, Women, and Song.
Opera Theater of Connecticut once again presents its Spring Concert, Wine Women, and Song. Celebrate them in a lovely concert of arias, duets, and ensembles dedicated to the appreciation of wine, women, and, certainly, love! Combine this with an entertaining wine tasting and you have an unforgettable event. This event has grown to become one of our most popular events, so be sure to reserve your “wine glasses” as soon as the invitations arrive. As we have for the past years, we will present Wine Women and Song at the delightful Woodwinds in Branford, (29 School Ground Rd.).
A select set of wines will once again be presented by Ian Ford, founder of NIMBILITY, a wine and spirits consulting and management company based in Hong Kong and Shanghai, building markets for wine and spirits producers across Asia. Ian has lived and worked in the wine import and production business in Asia for over twenty years and travels extensively to the vineyards in Europe, South America, Australia. New Zealand, and the United States. He frequently leads and attends wine-tastings and expos in China and abroad.
This lovely event will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024, from 5:00pm to 7:30pm. Buffet stations and desserts will complement the wine selection and complete this fabulous afternoon.
